I did twit …that I am going write about how to get to Had Riin for Full Moon Party. Now here it is I am writing on it … instead of finishing my HR paper   :P  or drafting   minutes meeting for share holders meeting …

So let me start from ……  I  had a friend who has resort in Koh Pangan. Then I googled the resort and  I read about rave party which held in that island called Full Moon Party and yeah …I was there …  my motto is … “Why Go to club if you can go Rave “

Then I had trip with my colleague …Eci .. We planned that trip about 4 months before.  So basically What  you need to know about Full Moon Party are  :

• .       It is located in Had Riin Beach, Koh Pangan Island
• .      Usually hotels/resorts/ Inn will charge you 5 nights stay during Full moon party week
• .       Sometimes electricity can be off  during Full Moon Party
• .      It will be so naïve if you  expect , that you will see beautiful legendary full moon if you go there on        wet season
• .      If you a girl … then do not   go there alone, someone can just spank you or rub your boobs :P
• .       Do not bring any drugs   or you will spend your vacation and money for Thai officers
• .       If you buy the bucket drink then …..  you should ready to have morning like stu, phil , Alan    & Doug    (Hang Over Movie)   :P
•      Keep your manner especially with locals….…or you will end up in pieces. Despite you come from     EU or US doesn’t mean you are the coolest creature ….. so … respect the locals. Local Thai are  very nice and good people.   They are kind, despite I felt hopeless when I speak English with them  J .
• .It was dark, windy and the road to Had Rin is on the hillside so better you go there by chartering taxi instead of bring your motorcycle.

The above mentioned are the basic rules guys   J

So How to get to the hippest , craziest and maddest  Legendary Full Moon Party  Koh Pangan Island is located in South Thailand,  besides Budhist there are also moslems so mind your manner to locals guys  !!!!

b    Koh Pangan can be reach via Ferry and speed boat.  The Pier’s name in Koh Pangan is  THONG SALA PIER There are 2 ways to go to Koh Pangan via Phuket & Koh Samui. I went there via Phuket  so I am going to write about it

Via Phuket  Airport

•         Take Bus / Taxi to Phuket  Bus Terminal. Taxi will cost you around THB 85, depends on your skill in bargaining   :p . Or you can take public bus , they start to operate at 08:00 and need about 2 hours to Phuket Bus Terminal

• In Phuket Bus Terminal ….. you can ask Phantip Bus  Counter or just ask locals…they’re very nice  J.  But I suggest you to check Phantip Schedule to Koh Pangan as they have join service with Raja Ferry  http://www.phantiptravel.com/. You can also purchase ticket online just email their Customer Service and they will respond to you info@phantiptravel.com you can settle payment via paypal.

*During Full Moon Party usually the Ferry will be full so better reserve in advance

•  After reach  Thong Sala  Pier you can take a taxi  (of course not literally Taxi)  to your inn. They have fix rate to every area in Koh Pangan.

How did we out from Koh Pangan ?

Since there was no join service from Koh Pangan to Phuket so we decided  to take

•     Speed Boat  Lomprayah  http://www.lomprayah.com/ to Surathani City. We purchased the tix online, Otherwise you can also take Ferry http://www.rajaferryport.com/.

•      From Surathani City  we continue with Phantip Bus to Phuket  City/ Phuket Bus Terminal. In the bus Phantip Bus officer will ask who would like to go to airport and they will offer you Taxi  from the drop off point  (of course with additional charge)
